DOGS ON CALL WELCOMES ITS FIRST FACILTY TRAINED DOG

Tess Searls, Nurse Clinician at our Virginia Treatment Center for Children (VTCC), is pictured with her Facility trained dog, Bahia. Bahia was trained by Canine Companions for Independence for her unique role at VTCC. When Bahia is not at VTCC calming children and staff, she is at home with her owner Tess, "just being a dog"!

Pet Loss Support Continues

The Center continues to offer pet loss support in collaboration with area veterinary hospitals/ boarding facilities. Individual pet loss counseling is also available on a sliding scale.
