Photographer Receives Special Award

In recognition of his generosity and support of The Center for Human-Animal Interaction, Richmond photographer Miguel Betancourt, InFocusByMiguel, was presented with an Award of Appreciation by Center Director Dr. Sandy Barker (l) and Program Coordinator Denice Ekey (r) at our recent Dogs On Call picnic.

We continue to periodically sponsor Delta Society Pet Partners training and evaluations for current Dogs on Call volunteers needing renewal and new volunteers preparing to join D.O.C. Contact us (827-PAWS) for more details.

The annual Dogs on Call Picnic was again held at Deep Run Park in Glen Allen on October 3. Many of our wonderful DOC teams and volunteers were in attendance (see photos below)
