On Saturday, September 15, 2007, staff and volunteers from the Center for Human-Animal Interaction again competed in the annual Anthem Gurney Tourney - now relocated to downtown Richmond. Three years ago, with our first entry we received "Most Popular". Last year, our Dogs on Call themed gurney won the "Most Original" award, and this year with our Wunder Dogs theme we won "Most Enthusiastic!"

Runners this year (L to R) were Judson Frye with Charlie, Denice Ekey, Monica Hatcher with Bama, and Leigh Kammerer.

The team prepares at the starting line, with passenger Janet Knisely!
